The group also has access to one of the UK's largest interactive voice response (IVR) networks and premium SMS services to facilitate competitions, bulk messaging and surveys.
Clients are aware that Amplefuture stands at the leading edge of communications technology. When they choose to work with us, they know their product will be futureproof. Derek Byrne, CEO, Amplefuture
History
Based in London and founded in 1995, Amplefuture rapidly gained a substantial share of the UK interactive voice services market within its first year of operation.
In 2000 Amplefuture was the first UK technology company to offer white-label mobile content to brand partners, with premium SMS billing and delivery. Two years later it launched 'TxtMe TV' on the Sky platform: the first live, dedicated, text-to-TV channel ever to air.
Amplefuture was also the first to offer mobile airtime credit top-up via digital TV, in partnership with BSkyB and in 2004, the team created a revolutionary way for Channel 4's reality TV show Big Brother to communicate with its viewers, via high volume SMS to screen services.
An award-winning online mobile app builder, which enabled advertisers to build and self-manage a branded presence across most consumer mobile phones, was launched in 2005. This was followed by the introduction of the innovative "Virtual Wallet" micropayments system.
In 2009, a collaboration with leading fashion forecast analysts Trendstop.com created mobile apps for iPhone, iPad and Android devices as a cutting edge tool for distribution of Trendstop.com fashion trend analysis content.
Amoja also began working with UEFA, initially producing smart mobile apps for UEFA broadcasters and then launching UEFA.com own brand mobile football services, together with the launch of mobile video streaming services.
The group has a number of innovative products currently in development for 2011 including advanced applications for iPad, iPhone and Android devices.
